About the painting
This painting features Saturn, my son’s cat.
Saturn has the classic look of a Siamese cat, with the light and dark brown fur colors and bright blue eyes.
The painting was painted over a period of a couple of weeks, and although the background in the reference photo is much more detailed, I went for a gray background instead. I felt it worked better with Saturn’s colors.
